I received my Galaxy S22 Ultra 512GB, Exynos version, over a week before official release date. As I was using the phone I discovered several bugs with my unit, screen blackouts, occasionaly freezes, conversations loosing sound, phon not reachable over GSM network even if my signals was good. I decided to wait until official release date to see if new software would be released. On the 25th Samsung released new firmware for my phone, and I did a complet factory reset after new firmware was installed. I am now on firmware S908BXXU1AVBF and fresh phone setup.
My screen problems seems to be gone, but GSM network issues are still there. Several times I have been made aware of that my phone can not be reached by callers, even if phone is showing signals. Solution, reboot. Turning on and off flightmode did not help. Also I am experiencing sound dropouts during calls, call is not droped but sound oth ways are lost, duration 10 - 15 seconds. Also when making a call the phone uses much longer time to set up the call than other phones I have had. Calling my self from other phones give simular results, setting up phone calles to my Galaxy S22 Ultra take much longer then calling others.
Have been in contact with Samsung support, but there is no help to get there. Try this, try that, over and over again. I am starting to loose my patients now, and its impossible for me to have a phone I dont know if I can be reached at, and when I manage to set up a call, sound is lost several times during the call.

Same problem here for Samsung France S22 Series.
Since the last update, we have hundreds of S22 owners with big network troubles. No fixes for now.. We're waiting...

And also before last update too ... of course 😉
No fix and no communication from SAMSUNG ... all this is not very serious and unworthy of this society 😡
Hum ...is there a contest for the worst communication for smartphone manufacturers?
Samsung seems to be in pole position ...

Hi,
The same issue on my S22 Ultra since 2 months ago (Exynos 256Gb, Romania). In the same spot with the same SIM card, I can make calls without any trouble from my old Note so Ultra. I thought that's a hardware issue, but now I saw those 88 pages on the same topic. Hopefully Samsung will manage to solve it.

I have a S22 Ultra, Romania (Orange network). Everything regarding the signal/ network was acceptable (not great but better than S21 Ultra, A52S, even Note 20 Ultra) until the latest sw upadte, that ruined it. I have constant call drops, distorsions, long intervals needed for connection etc
It is obvious that this last sw update by Samsung (Official, A12, September) made this problem worse.
Also it looks like Samsung can calibrate this network signal, probably in connection with battery too.
I personally prefer a low SOT but a flawless network reception.

If it hasn't been fixed by now then it isn't going to get fixed.
Samsung haven't even acknowledge the problem as far as i'm aware. That tells me they can't fix it with a software update. Anyway, i'm so glad I never got the S22 Ultra! If the S23 ships with an Exynos chip, i'm ditching Samsung.

Hello again,
I have managed to partially "solve" the problem, changing my mobile phone company for one that has better coverage in my area; however, I have found that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a lower signal pick-up compared to other devices (Huawei P20 Pro, Motorola Moto G) in the same location.
I honestly don't think an update patch can solve the problem as it seems to be a hardware issue.
I hope my experience serves as feedback.
Greetings to all.
Sorry for the translation.

If you solved your problem by changing the phone company, why should it be a hardware issue? Seems to be a software problem.

O2 will refund me for the s**** S22 Ultra Phone. For me the case is closed. I guess there will be never a update, who will fix this.

Because, the problems persist, less than before, but they persist. And, as you could read in my message, I made the comparison with other mobile devices. I definitely mean that it is a problem with some physical component related to the connection. Hypothetically speaking, I would change the network card if it were a computer.
