I've had my device nearly a year. This past two weeks my phone will not connect to my carrier or any network. At home with wifi it works with wifi calling. Once I leave home or turn the wifi off I have:
-Not registered to a Network
- No incoming/outgoing calls or texts
-Phone is offline
I've tried: airplane mode on then off to reset, resetting network, rebooting, Turing wifi on then off, changing Sim from 5g to light, clearing cache, calling my carriers customer service ( everything was verified as working on their end, they think hardwire problem on my end) and then a last resort full factory reset. After the factory reset I was able to use data without wifi for less than 5 minutes before the problem reappeared.
Any solutions? Can this be fixed?

Hi,
I switched to eSIM and it seems it is working.
Before, I tried putting SIM multiple times but it never worked for long time.
Hope this works for you.
Regards
Vivek

I called a ubreakifixit business and they changed out the charging port. The problem is resolved. Makes no sense to me, but I tried LITERALLY every other fix and nothing worked. Cost me $125. I attempted to start a claim but the headache wasn't worth it so I just paid out of pocket.

My phone started doing the same as everyone above about on March 26th, its been driving me nuts since as my phone is basically useless now. I was also using it for my Type 1 Diabetes and had my pump and cgm systems on it and has for the last year as my phone is only 1yr old and then as of March 26th everything started crashing on my phone and I've had to disconnected my cgm and pump software as the wifi, network and Bluetooth all drop in and out and don't connect properly etc anymore. I too tried everything. I will be contact Samsung as well as this is not ok and my phone provider will not do anything about it other than tell me to buy a new phone.

Whats eSim? I put a PAYG sim from ee in and its not working on my Tab A 2019. No data, can't call. Funny thing O2 will work on 2G setting for Internet, but not for calls. The ee sim works fine on my newer galaxy phone, so it's got to be Samsung software update that's screwing up the network connection. Not happy.

Nope! It's bloody annoying. Samsung told me to take my phone in to a Samsung Tech so that they can assess the phone. SAMSUNG said this isn't a software issue but considering the amount of people commenting its obvious an issue. I'll let you know if I learn anything after taking it to see a Samsung tech. I've literally tried everything right down to factory resetting and nothing has worked yet.

My phone tends to work for a period after driving a distance, so I think it connects to a new mast, works temporarily, then develops the same issue and stops connecting. Once I've been in an area more than 10 minutes I lose all signal

I understand you're facing an annoying issue where your device isn't registering with the network operator. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and hopefully get you back online:
Let's start with some quick checks:
- Restart your device: A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches that might be causing the problem.
- Airplane mode trick: Turn on Airplane mode for a few seconds, then disable it. This can sometimes refresh the network connection.
Next, let's look at your network settings:
- Manually select network: Your phone might not be automatically connecting after an update. Try manually selecting your network operator in the settings menu.
- Reset network settings: This will erase your Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth connections, and other network settings, but it can also fix connectivity issues. Note: The specific steps will vary depending on your phone model. Look for it in Settings under "System" or "General Management."
Now, let's focus on your SIM card:
- Reseat the SIM card: Turn off your phone, remove the SIM card, and reinsert it securely. This can address loose connection issues.
- Inspect the SIM card: If the SIM card looks damaged or dirty, you might need a replacement from your carrier.
If the above steps don't work, let's try some advanced troubleshooting:
- Software update: Make sure your device has the latest software update installed, as it might include a fix for the network issue.
- APN settings (if needed): In rare cases, your phone's Access Point Name (APN) settings might be incorrect after an update. Contact your carrier for the correct APN settings for your network.
You can find an explanation of how to perform these steps at this link: https://www.techyfolder.com/2024/04/phone-not-registered-on-network.html

I have already done all the above steps right down to a factory reset and none have fixed the issue.
