Device not registered to a network operator

I've had my device nearly a year. This past two weeks my phone will not connect to my carrier or any network. At home with wifi it works with wifi calling. Once I leave home or turn the wifi off I have:

-Not registered to a Network

- No incoming/outgoing calls or texts

-Phone is offline

I've tried: airplane mode on then off to reset, resetting network,  rebooting, Turing wifi on then off, changing Sim from 5g to light, clearing cache, calling my carriers customer service ( everything was verified as working on their end, they think hardwire problem on my end) and then a last resort full factory reset. After the factory reset I was able to use data without wifi for less than 5 minutes before the problem reappeared.

Any solutions? Can this be fixed?

I've got the same problem.  Does anyone know if I can replace the charge port myself?  Would a Verizon store do it?  Or does it have to be done at a Samsung Tech center.

If your phone is within warranty then likely would have to have samsung replace it as to not void your warranty. My phone was out of warranty period so I just took mine to my local phone repair store (not samsung) and they fixed it for me. I watched them change the charge port, if you are handy then go ahead and try changing it out yourself, but after watching them do it I'd highly recommend a professional does it for you. I've had no issues since having my charge port replaced though so it definitely fixes the problem.

I am currently experiencing this as we speak. I have a Samsung Galaxy note 20 5g ultra. I am so sad because I can't use my phone outside of my home which means I can't make any money. Has anyone figured this out?

I'm having the same issue.  It started after installing the latest updates to S24 last week. Tried all the things above, including multiple factory resets.  No resolution.  I've only had this phone since November.

I've narrowed down my issue to handling of multiple SIM cards.

Since the last update to Android/OneUI, if I have both SIM cards enabled, the phone won't connect to the network of either - if I go to Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators and then toggle Select automatically for either SIM, the error message "Error while searching for networks".  If I disable one of the SIMs in Connections > SIM Manager or physically remove a SIM, then the other SIM connects as usual, and toggling "Select automatically" scans and displays the different services available.

Looks like a bug in the update relating to using multiple SIMs.  I've no idea if this has any relation to the issues in this thread, but it may be something to try.

I seem to have a similar issue

When i am in my home or office, it shows the error

But other than some specific places it does work

It's like it will 1000 percent stop working in some definite places but will keep on working in other places

Hey my phone is s22 ultra .

It is according to all the steps you mentioned

But it is area specific

Works in some areas and stops working completely without me changing anything in some areas.

And the areas are permanent.

I also have an s22 in the same house using the same network and it works fine.

What more is that when I swap the sim cards

(From s22ultra to s22, and from s22ultra to s22)

The s22 gets the signals and the s22ultra still does not work and shows the not registered error. But 1 kilometer away from my house and the s22 ultra is working fine making calls and receiving calls and the mobile data to work fine as well

I don't know if it's software, hardware of network issue

I had a S21 Ultra, bought in Italy, used for a year with a italian SIM...then i broke the screen and didn't used it for 2 years till 2 weeks ago when i repaired it...now the strange thing is that it can't find any italian network operators, i tried with 2 different SIM card from different carriers but nothing...BUT!!! I went abroad and it connected without problems to the local network operator....how can a phone that was bought in Italy, used in Italy for a year, now does not find network operators but outside the country it works??

Finally out of all the forums I've been on someone isn't talking *****. This is issue 100% Samsungs doing, almost feels like a malicious buisness tactic to make sure people keep upgrading their devices instead of just taking care of their initial one for years. First thing that popped into my head when this happened to me is this should be a massive lawsuit seeing how many people have these issues with their updates.
