Auto Rotate completely missing

I need help! I noticed a couple months ago that my auto rotate is missing. The icon is no longer in the drop down panel anywhere. I even searched through settings. No where! The auto rotate is gone. I can't rotate barely anything. Pictures, YouTube...  what do I do?  How do I get it back??

None of the things I googled helped me locate it either. I've never seen this before on any of my phones. I've had this phone less than a year.

I suddenly had the rotate button disappear.  The portrait icon is also missing.  If I search settings,  there is a setting for auto rotate that is on but setting it on or off, restarting the phone will not turn it back on.

This option isn't available on the edit menu either.

The button could also be called 'Landscape' depending on how your locked screen is orientated.

Change something obvious that's worked forever into something else. Wtf. Thank you. Also fixed the stupid annoying issue for me.
