Bluetooth headset won't answer calls since recent software updates

Anyone else having issues with bluetooth headsets being unablunable to answer, hear or make phone calls from ?

In the past month all my bluetooth headphones will not work with my galaxy A52S mobile phone. I've uninstall the headphones, repaired, updated headset software all without success.

If I'm listening to media and receive a phone call I can't hear it in the headphones, the phone call stays with the phone.

 The headsets all work for calls with iphone OI and an old android phone with a version of android OI of 3, but not mine which is 6.1, android version 14.

Anyone know of any updates to correct this issue?

Make it simple. 

 

Enable to show system apps firstly then switch above apps to Unrestricted in battery settings, then remove the symptoms by using other workarounds, e.g. changing HCI snoop log in developer options before restart your phone.  This is my latest experiment I am testing that have not got problem over 48 hours up to now. You can test the effectiveness by phone call to your voicemail. Usually it is free of charge.

What is your status after applying the new methods? Is it also effective on your phone?

Hello, I've proceed only with the "3 bluetooth apps" => nothing better

So I've just done the same with the "SIM apps" => Right after the reboot, it works but I will have to wait to see if it's better or not

I've proeceed in two "batches" because I'm not a big fan of changing the system configuration, si I've tried my luck only with the BT apps

I hope it will works !

and forgot to mention that I have 1 more "SIM app" in my phone that the 5 reflecting in your snapshot

it's "EsimClient", so ... I've done the same on this app regarding the battery

Sounds good!  If the problem does not happen over a week, maybe the problem has been overcome.

• Have you got an experienced that the SIM was reported not being inserted sometimes? That is another not noticale symptoms by the aggressive optimization on the SIM processes, eventually affecting bluetooth to get troubles. It should be also overcome.

Je vous rejoins car même problème avec mon A52S depuis plusieurs mois.

Si ce n'est pas de l'obsolescence programmée ça !!

Je tente votre manip car l'optimisation expliquerait pourquoi ça marche un moment et puis tombe ensuite. Il faudrait trouver un moyen pour désactiver l'optimisation sur le téléphone tout simplement.

Dites moi si ça marche encore et depuis combien de temps !

Puisque cela tourne autour de l'optimisation, je viens en plus des unstricted sur les applications citées, de désinstaller les mises à jour de l'application "Maintenance du téléphone" et empêcher sa mise à jour. Comme par hasard la mise à jour de l'application date de mai 2025, où les pbs sont apparus !!

Du coup sur mon A52S, je suis en version 13.8.05.48 et la maj veut poser la version 13.8.60.4 du 5 mai 2025
