A72 unresponsive screen

My phone starts fine and then operates normally, but after a few minutes use the screen becomes unresponsive to touch/swipe etc. Only solution is to keep forcing a restart so I can use for a short while.

I've tried starting in Safe mode and the have the same issue.

The screen must be ok as it works for a while, but why does it suddenly become unresponsive?

Yes as we already said the solution is to change the main flex cable

I had to replace the display, now it works fine

June 2nd, 2023 even with the new update on android I still have this problem. I've got my phone back to fabric reset and nothing works. Do you have an update on yours?

Bring it to a shop

Let them change the flex cable

Dont waste time. Go to service station and get the main cable ribbon connecting touch screen replaced. I already gave this before.

The only one solution is to change the ribbon. Nothing else

me just out of warranty.works fine with a usb mouse so not a screen problem
