Worst customer service i have ever experienced

i am trying to get get a complaint or return raised and after a struggle with live chat, telephone option that took 16 minutes to speak to someone (there was almost no waiting time its was just 16 mins of selecting options) 

and then when speaking to differnt people over 1.5 hours, nobody wants to take ownership or has an ageneda not to be helpful.

 

this after a samsung employee lied on live chat that i based a decision on.

 

time to stop buying samsung product after more than 25 years

Sorry to hear you have a problem. I understand that the customer service team can be found to be hard to interact with.

However you haven't put any details of your reasons for the complaint or return.

Perhaps you can share the reasons for your needs to use customer service team in the first instance ?

I bought a ultra watch.. I then saw a couple of discount code that would have save me a further 142 quid.
I tried to start a return of my unsed watch via Live chat as it was only 3 days since I received it. The person on live chat told me that I could get the difference back via price promise and I asked if it was 100% guaranteed and they said yes.
Low and behold, today I got an email saying my price promise claim was rejected.....

@dj04lee: I'm sorry to hear that there was some confusion surrounding the Price Promise promotion. This promotion was only applicable to purchases made from selected retailers between the 30th October - 3rd December 2024, so this is likely to be why your claim was not verified.

Furthermore, there terms and conditions state that "Participants who have used a coupon or promotional discount code in order to lower the actual price paid on their purchased Promotion Product are not eligible to take part in the Promotion, unless the coupon or promotional discount code terms and conditions specifically state otherwise."

If you purchased your Galaxy Watch Ultra from samsung.com, then you do still have the option of returning the item for a refund if it has only been 3 days since the item was delivered to you. This will then allow you the chance to purchase the device from the third party retailer at the reduced price, without the need for the Price Promise cashback. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Samsung customer service is a horrible joke! I just had the issue where the silicone tip ripped on my buds 3 pro and all they did was argue and come up excuses not to help you even though it's a known documented issue! They basically have no accountability!

Did you even read the post? It's filled with reasons for his complaint! My complaint is that Samsung customer service is horrible at what they do! They take forever to reach, then when you do reach them they actively try to not help you by arguing about everything and blaming the customer for problems that are known issues with their products and giving zero solutions to fix the problem that Samsung caused by trying to cut corners to save money by selling junk and not honoring the warranties they allegedly provide. How's that for specific reasons?

Thankyou for your input. It is fairly common knowledge that Samsung customer service could be improved. I am not sure why you have felt necessary to provide your inputs to someone else's post in a fairly agressive way, but I am sorry you also have cause for complaint.

Perhaps your own issues should make your own post, and then I would ask you the same question about what product and what had happened to cause you to be unhappy with customer service.

My question was actually to the original post, and the circumstances of their complaint. My reason for asking is that we may be able to offer some advice if we know the issue, product, and why the complaint in the first place.

For info, on this forum we are not samsung customer service and we are just other consumers who give up some time to help people here.

This is a joke right?

The purchase was made on the 16th Dec
The better price was on the same site I bought the watch on.. SAMSUNG.COM
The SAMSUNG employee steered me down the price promise claim route instead of a return which at that point on the 19th Dec i could have done as the watch was unused.
Now 18days later the watch is used due to SAMSUNG employee lack of understanding...

Regarding the price promise only being certain dates.. either it's not correct or samsung is faslet advertising as when I checked the price of the watch out on the 19th.. the jargon about the price promise was there in the checkout .. so if the promotion was not available on that date.. why was it there ..

After using so many samsung products since 1990's it's time to switch

No one cares at samsung and when there is a mistake or an issue no one wants to fix it .. it's just corporate greed and incompetent staff

Samsung UK, as usual, is not delivering on its promises. When ordering, they ask about delivery on a specific date and then do not fulfil their promises.
Order for the 11th, after payment it says until January 14th without a specific date. 😞
