Find my mobile - without Samsung phone can I locate my galaxy buds 3 pro?

Hello,

I’ve been struggling for the past two days trying to set up the localization feature for my Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. I do not own a Samsung phone (which might be the root cause of my issue), however, after reading various guides and user manuals, I thought I could still enable and use the Samsung Locate function for my Buds Pro, even without a Samsung phone. I am registered on Samsung and have a login linked to my google account.

When I log into SmartThings, I don't see any registered devices, but

1) I do have the "Wear" app installed on my phone (xiaomi).

2) My Samsung account is linked to the devices, and if I visit account.samsung.com, I can see my Galaxy Buds 3 Pro listed under devices. Under the "Devices" tab it says "No inactive device" and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and its serial number are listed under "Registered Devices."

3) When I click on "Find Personal Devices," I am directed to the SmartThings Find website, which asks me to log in. I log in via my Google account (so I’m sure it’s me), but it still shows "No registered devices."

Can anyone guide me on how to get the "Find My Device" feature to work?

Thanks!

@marco423: Please try heading to the Google Play Store on your connected smartphone, and download the 'Samsung Find' app, if available.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.app.find&hl=en_GB

Now, when you tap on 'Find My Earbuds' in the Wearable app, this will launch the Samsung Find app, and you can check your misplaced Buds location on the map.

To find your earbuds using the Samsung Find app, Samsung Find’s Lost mode must be turned on, and the features related to finding devices offline must also be turned on.
