Watch Ultra wrist recognition

I know I have seen several posts for previous wearables regarding wrist detection with tattoos.  The Watch Ultra is no exception.  Why is this issue not fixed or addressed in any way?  As soon as I enable Samsung Pay the watch is locked every time it wakes up.  I don't even have a full coverage dark tattoo.  Why shouldn't we be able to use the expensive technology we paid for?

I guess you have answered your question really.

Technology is great when it works but has its limitations in different scenarios and the way it's used.
You win some and loose some.
Tattoos seem to interfere with lots of stuff including mri scans I believe.

Apparently turning of wrist detection in the settings under privacy and security, helps

The point of the post is that it won't work with apps like Samsung Pay. I'm aware you can turn it off.

If you re-read it I did not answer my own question.  The watch seems to track heart rate and activity just fine, just as previ versions did.  I would appreciate actual answers and not snarky remarks.
