New update broke galaxy watch ultra functions

Hi,

Today new update was installed on my Galaxy watch ultra. The issue is it broke 2 functions that were working correctly: 

1. Steps are not tracked/synced correctly with Health app - I can walk miles and it won't update until I sync it manually using Health app on the phone (it was working automatically and counted steps correctly every few seconds)
2. Raise wrist to wake is completely broken. Doesn't work, it's turned on.

What I did - soft reset and wipe cache partition. I would like to avoid hard reset

1. Restart both phone and Watch.
2. Check for any app updates in both Samsung and google stores.
3. Could try uninstalling wearable app and Reinstalling as a last resort.

You can do all above or do one by one and see if problem is solved.

The update broke the health sync between my GW Ultra and my phone. Check for app update on the Google store on the watch. There was a health app and wear os app update that seems to have fixed my sync issue.

I m having the same problem with raise to wake. After restart work for some time, then stops working again.

I haven't done anything. The problem solved itself. Try to update Wear companion app, Samsung health and all watch apps.
