Samsung Watch 5 Bluetooth standalone - when phone left at home

I know I can connect my watch to WiFi points my mobile has registered, but is there any other way to use the watch standalone.

Maybe like smart tags using other Samsung devices to locate.

Nearly every version of the Watch I purchased with LTE, but on the 5 did not bother as rarely used it.
