I'm wearing the Watch 4 Classic for the past 2weeks and noticed the burns recently. Swapped it over to my right wrist and somehow that got burned faster

At first I thought it was like allergy from all the sweat stains etc. Washed the watch and cleaned it. My left hand now has a patch of much drier skin with irritated center. Went Googling on Samsung Watch 4 skin irritations and holy cow....it's not just me facing this! Kinda disappointing as I was wearing the Watch almost 24/7 besides shower and charging it to monitor my Health...and Sleep. Found a comment on Reddit suggesting to turn off the Monitor Blood Oxygen whilst sleeping to help and let's see if that works. Otherwise, it's kinda pointless getting a smart watch ain't it20230424_113628.jpg20230424_114055.jpg20230424_114057.jpg

I had the same issue on my GW4 which actually woke me in the middle of the night as it was burning. The red light was constantly lit on the back of the watch at the time so I think there was a software issue or a glitch. It never happened again after restarting the watch.

Hi I too have the same identical mark on my wrist as walla hussan.

I've had mine over 2yrs wear every day except showering and charging. Previous to this one I had GW3 never had an issue. Before that I had apple and before that I had Sony first ever smartwatch. As you can see I've had a few different ones and only this one has burnt my wrist. I do not have sensitive skin as some are suggesting, I'm also not wearing it too tight its perfect fit or to loose a fit. There clearly is a issue with he GW4.

Now I think about it, I did a recent update on the watch, maybe this has something to do with it. I've also seen the Samsung forum for EU and there are lots of people complaining of the same issues.......🤔🤔🤔

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has experienced this so Samsung are aware of the issue.

Carnt seem to upload photos. 🤔

My watch is currently with Samsung.

I have the same problem. I have been using it for 2 years and I think upon the latest update, the light of the sensor was blinking no stop...and i got my wrist burnt.

I sent the device for repair and samsung rejected any responability as for them if it was a problem of device it would come from battery.

For them the battery is ok and sending back the device as it was. I am in peeling phase after the burnt. I am going to contact consumers agency to tackle the issue.

I'm having the same problem. Are the screen protectors stick on or are they removable? This sounds like the perfect solution but I don't want to ruin the watch.

I had exactly the same problem with this watch. It is not an allergy or irritation from the strap but burning from the back of the watch. My wrist actually came out in a nasty weeping blister. I sent it back and offered to send the photographs but they didn't want to see them. They refunded immediately. They obviously know it is a problem.. I know have a £20 smart watch from amazon with all the same features. It still works with bluetooth turned off except for calks ( which I think could be a problem) and I only turn it on when out. I also do not sleep with the watch on. So far - no problems. The battery life is much better and I've saved hundreds of pounds
