I had rest my phone without backing up newly purchased watch faces.  They can be restored by:

1) Open the galaxy store app on your phone

2) Click on 3 dots top right

3) Click on My page

4) Click on All

5) Click on Watch

You will see all your past purchases.

6) Click on the download arrow to download them to your watch again.

7) After downloading is finished just hit the play icon next to the face you want to use and it will make it active on your watch.

Hope this helps. Thomas

OK 2023 now and I have an update that works,   go to Galaxy wearable apps on you're phone, click on discover tab appears  bottom right for me,  just above it it says view more this then opens galaxy store, 3 lines on the right hand side at the top click on these and you will get the following options after a brief loading time:

Home, Watch faces, Chart, Apps, MY APPS, click on this then  All,  and then you will find everything ever installed on your phone click the tick box to re download

None of these options work. I can see my watch faces in "Receipts" but they aren't showing up under "My apps". I am trying to install a watch face I previously purchased, and because I upgraded my phone I was forced to reset the watch, but now I cannot install my watch face I paid for.

This doesn't work for me at all. The list shows a very small amount of apps, but not the ones I want, although they do appear in Receipts

I know this is an old post, but thanks so much! I just accidentally erased my fav watch face whilst linking to a new phone.

Hi,

I'm 2023, there is no longer the Watch section next to Themes under the My Apps section. I've got apps, games, themes there and nothing else. I hate to lose all my watch faces, as I probably had close to 30 that I purchased.

Many thanks to Thomas for helping us all out. I've noticed that some people are having trouble with the Galaxy Store's new app layout, so I'll revise Thomas's instructions to account for the new layout:

1) Open the Galaxy Store app on your phone

2) Click on the "Menu" option in the bottom right

3) Click on My Apps in the top left

4) There will be categories lined up in the following order at the top: Apps, Games, Themes, Watch. Click on Watch

After this, you will see all your past purchases as Thomas previously mentioned. You can follow the rest of his steps as he stated:

6) Click on the download arrow to download them to your watch again.

7) After downloading is finished just hit the play icon next to the face you want to use and it will make it active on your watch.

Cheers!

Unfortunally, this doesn't work on the newer phone, as they've made the switch to Google OS for the watch. I had to go back to S20U just for my favorite watch face that was casios.

I have the same problem (and just signed up specifically to talk about this).  My phone wasn't finding GPS after an update, so I factory reset it and now I can't get my old Watchmaker app back onto the watch.  I can see it in my purchase history, but the My Apps section only shows Apps, Games, Themes, and no Watch section with Watchmaker and the three or four watch faces I downloaded two years ago when I first got this watch.

My older Galaxy Watch 3 still has the app on it and works fine; it's driving me crazy.  I must be missing something simple.
