I ordered a Samsung galaxy watch 4 about a hour ago, the payment has been taken but the page instantly directed me to a page to get me to confirm my student email (which it won't accept either)
The money has been taken out of my account but I am still yet to receive a order confirmation on email?? Should I be worried?

The funds will have been gated off by your Bank automatically while awaiting for Samsung to claim the money.
If the sale has not been processed then the funds will drop back into your account balance in a few working days.
So see if the sale has processed especially as you haven't received a confirmation email response from Samsung then do contact the Samsung Online Shop Team.
Also please check any relevant spam folders just incase the email has dropped into that folder.
