Galaxy Fit 3 All notifications working except text messages.

My Fit 3 text message notifications are not showing up but all other notifications are working as expected.

I've enabled "Messages" in my app notifications in the wearables app on my S22. All of my other notifications have been working as expected on the Fit3 but I'm getting nothing for text messages. Not even the notification dot.

When I receive a "Messages" notification on my S22, my phone vibrates and I see the notification on my lock screen, but the watch currently does nothing.

What am I missing for getting text message notifications working on the Fit3? Thanks

Are you using Google messages or Samsung messages?

I'm using Google messages on my phone and they previously worked for notifications with my Galaxy Watch Active2. Should I switch to Samsung messages?

Have you also checked in the Galaxy Fit3 plugin app that SMS isn't blocked.

I use Google File Manager to access the installed apps but you should be able to access it from the settings and apps menu on the phone if you don't use Google file Manager

Yes, they look correct. If it isn't working, under the Gear app and advance notifications, see what settings you have enabled. The other option would be to delete the Gear and gear plugin and try reinstalling to see if it sorts the issue. I have used the fit 3 with an S23FE and now the S24 and get the message notifications on the band.
