WhatsApp notifications not showing

I have WhatsApp installed and signed in on both my phone (A35) and watch (FE), but notifications for it don't show on the watch. I have notifications for WhatsApp enabled, and show alerts even when phone in use enabled. It always used to work but hasn't recently. Also, I sometimes get random notifications on the watch for messages I got days ago. For example, a message from my friend sent on Wednesday showed on Saturday, for some reason.

Also having similar issue with s24 ultra and galaxy watch 6 was beginning to think was possibly a glitch after one UI 7 update but presumably if your using an a35 you haven't had this yet....like you all my notifications are enabled so not sure what's going on...I've tried deleting and reinstalling WhatsApp on watch and still nothing

Try clearing all cache that helped me on this issue
