Unfortuately  the audio only likely to  work via the Samsung  phone on Zoom screen mirroring , as previously explained by Av specialists it is technically problematic.

Hi @DrPepper1  The zoom app is not available via the Smart Tv.    It is possible to screen mirror from phone/tablet  using either Smart Things or Smart View.   See other posts in thread and also guide here:   Screen Mirroring :Screen Mirroring

However highly unlikely  the sound will come from the Tv speakers rather than your device,  Av specialists input:

"When Screen Mirroring Zoom, or any other video conferencing software from a Smartphone or Tablet, the sound will never come through the TV speakers.

"Video conferencing software relies on the fact that it knows which device the sound is being reporduced on, and so knows the exact timing of it.  If it were to allow the TV to make the sound, there would be no way of cancelling that audio from the microphone on the device running the software, and so it would end in a feedback mess."

Hi! How do you change the setting of just being like a remote control of the TV? I cannot disable that and I dont see the Screen Mirror option on my smartphone 😞 Please help!

I have both phone and TV samsung but I dont see the option to project the image from my phone to the TV (for zoom specifically).

Thanks!

Screenshot_20200601-213526_Smart View.jpgHi @mne If using Smart Things when you select the desired TV you can select screen mirror via the Menu options (3 dots) on the right hand side.

With Smart View , screen mirroring should appear when you select Smart View from your device's drop down Menu (I am using an S10)    Smart Things  should be used for modern Tvs (from 2017 onwards)  and support for Smart View will cease in October.

Wow, I didn't even know that was there.  What is the difference and why would there be a distinction?  Now that I selected mirror screen it is defaulting to that.  The last time I tried to do this I couldn't get zoom on the tv.

Thanks.

Hi I am original poster.  I zoomed on my phone again this week, I went into smart view and where you usually select a device in smart view i.e. your tv. there is a pull down menu, click on mirror screen and it should work, good luck

I am perplexed why the product development teams are not recognizing the urgent demand for integrating zoom/facetime calls with television?? I'm thoroughly invested in the latest TV, Apple computers. zoom and phones and still can't integrate my webcam with my high tech setup. What gives?

@  I have the same question in 2021.  Everything I can find on this subject talks about mirroring which is fiddly and far from ideal. We have other apps on the TV  eg internet browser and youtube so why can't we have a zoom  (or similar) app on a "smart" TV in 2021? If the Zoom app cannot be adapted for the TV operating system for some reason, why can't a multi billion dollar company like Samsung write their own app? Surely there would be a big market for it TV's with this feature.
