we have just been given a UE40ES5500 Smart TV, I have brought the LAN adapter and this installed fine.
I cannot access anything via Web Browser and how do you get to the option of logging in to your account. I cannot access account manager.
The Software update option is also greyed out

Could you tell us the current software version of the TV? Go to Menu > Support > Contact Samsung.
