I have previously been able to download apps, however this is no longer the case. Called Samsung support to be frustratingly told after 20 minutes of being charged to do basic diagnostics that my TV never had this functionality, however this is not true, help!!!

Hey @Cherrenceuk, hope all is well. Which apps are you trying to download? I can confirm this is a smart TV but the apps are dependant on software version and whether or not the app developers have updated them to run on this model.

The issue here is I cannot search for, or download any apps, the option to do so no longer exists, I had previously downloaded an app (probably 2 years ago) so I know I was able, but that option seems to have been disabled?

Can you confirm the software version you're currently running? You can find this usually by pressing Menu on the remote and going to Support > Software Update.

i checked the software update and I am, according to the TV, up to date. Version is 1410

I also am up to date on my software and can no longer get a facebook app.
