UE43AU7100 Brightness

Hi, have owned this TV for a little while now and can't escape the feeling that it simply isn't bright enough.

Can anyone shed any light (excuse the pin) on exactly where the light sensor for auto adjusting brightness is on the TV? I have a Sonos Beam mounted underneath it and wonder of this could be affecting this.

In any event I would very much appreciate anyone's recommendation for picture settings for most HD terrestrial TV and HD Streaming.

Thank you Chris - have tried most adjustments and still find it dimmer than expected. Can't help feeling I'm missing something.

In that case, it might be worth a quick call to our TV/AV specialists, who'll be able to make a remote connection to your TV to check over your settings. You can call them on 0333 000 0333 until 6pm this evening, or between 10am to 8pm tomorrow. Hope this helps!
