TV's Bluetooth recognized but not pairing

My SAMSUNG TV (QE56Q60RATXXU) recognizes audio bluetooth devices that i want to connect to. But when I click to pair it doesn't work. I've tried turning it off etc. Doesn't appear to be an softwear update. I can't be the only person with this issue?

I had the same problem and so I reset my tv 📺 now it works fine 🙂

I have the same issue with my Sony surround system. Reset tv to factory settings. Still same issue.

Is it the old computer rule - You can go up but not down - meaning if the TV is older than the audio device it will not pair (work) even though it recognizes the sound bar? I have a sound bar the TV identifies but will not pair?
