My UE55CU8000KXXU keeps forgetting the universal remote settings. The batteries in the remote are brand new.
I can program the universal remote to control my Humax HB-1100S satellite box and every works as it should.
But if I put the TV on standby, all these settings are lost. I have spent almost two hours with tech support on the phone and with remore connection and it has not been fixed. HDMI was reset remotely, the remote was reset and the TV was factory reset. The TV software is up to date.
If I program the Humax remote to operate the Samsung TV there are functions that do not work, so I want Samsung to fix this as I am not the only one with this issue.
I wish I could get email support from Samsung UK. Samsung in the Levant did try and help but referred me to Samsung UK which does not offer email support.
