Every time I launch the app on my Samsung S90C 2023, it loads forever until it displays the message "Something went wrong".
I have tried:
I was really looking forward to seeing the sync in action; any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm at my wit's end! I've got a Hue bridge, strip, and sync box, but I can't get the Philips Hue Sync app to install on my Samsung TV (QE85Q80CAT).
Every time I try to download it, I get this error: "Something went wrong. Please check your internet connection and that you are signed in to your Samsung account on this TV.”
Of course, my internet is fine, and I'm definitely logged in. I've tried everything I can think of:
Wired and wireless connections
Different Samsung accounts
Power cycling the TV
Reinstalling the app countless times
Linking accounts via SmartThings
My TV and the app are both up-to-date:
Philips Hue Sync app: Version 1.4.48 (Updated 8/1/2025)
TV Model: QE85Q80CAT (with the latest firmware update)
Any solution guys ? still not working

I have exactly the same issue and spent months on with Samsung and Phillips twitter support and they basically both gave up on me and Phillips said it was Samsung fault and vice versa. I’ve just tried again and downloads the new hue app update which was released 8th Jan but same “something is wrong” issue. Pathetic really. I originally paid for a years licence and got it completely refunded due to their bad bad app.

Last update broke it. I only see the logo and does not boot up anymore. Terrible service, nobody I can contact on Phillips side either. More annoying, I just paid for the month subscription, now I cannot even cancel it as app won’t start.

Bought today the S99D TV, app doesn't work.. so expensive and this doesn't work...

philips has confirmed to me that samsung broke the app for certain models including my s95d

Phillips told me the same about my QE55. I said the same to them, why is it still on the App Store. I’d already paid full price for the app, and sold a sync hue box, but I was refunded. Such a shame.
