The Philips Hue Sync TV app is not working.

Every time I launch the app on my Samsung S90C 2023, it loads forever until it displays the message "Something went wrong".

I have tried:

  • Factory reset several times 
  • Coldstart via remote 
  • Coldstart via unplugging the cable 
  • Resetting the smart hub 
  • Reinstalling app
  • Deleting and installing app 
  • Clearing cache/data 
  • Logging in and out of the Samsung account
  • Using a different Samsung account

I was really looking forward to seeing the sync in action; any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same here even for today. It seems philips and ssmsung messed up this tech. We dont have what we payed for...

I will try removing app and re install but it seems it doesnt work for the people who tried the same already.

Same issue here, my tv is QE55S95BATXXN, I was so exited to try this, but when I scan the qr code to connect to hue sync app, on the tv say Something went wrong

Update for today: I have removed app and reintalled it. It worked and now its working without issue. I also had shutdown issue of lightstrip. It wasnt turning off when I shutdown the tv. Also it works too. This is still not satisfaction since I focused on fixing the issue after this much value I paid. I hope It wont happen again.

I can't even get in the app, right after I scan the qr code to sync with my phone, it says something went wrong and it repeats it again and again

Same problem here with a QN85BA 75

 

Edit : after uninstalling, reset of tv and reinstall of every app it works again..

Just purchase the monthly for 2.99 then all your stuff will go back online then call tech support show your lifetime purchase receipt n they will restore it for you

I’m stuck like chuck, I’ve try everything. 🤔 it says it’s synced but goes in to screen (something is wrong, try back later) WTF? Bought this 75” tv for $1,200 Hue strip for $300. Hue subscription for $130 that’s nearly $1,700 and NADA! Seriously???? Like seriously? What type of cr***y service is this? I’m mad as hell. FIX IT !

It is like a joke. You pay for high end with really high cost. You have problem but nothing for fun!! It works sometimes but usually stops sync even if it looks like its sync on the app!!

Currently experiencing the issue with "Something went wrong" error message immediately after the splash screen with Philips Hue. I've installed the application on Friday and tried multiple times, including a factory reset of the TV but it has the same behavior. App version is 1.4.46 and it says it was last updated on 12/12/2024.

I’ve been having the issue for around a month now, have spoken to Hue via Twitter/X and I’ve just been left with “Specialised team will get back to you” that was 2 weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing, I have to keep going back to Hue for updates rather than them coming to me.

 

I’ve tried soft reset, factory reset, unplugging TV, deleting and reinstalling the app, clearing Cache, resetting the Hue Bridge, nothing is working. At this point I might just cancel my subscription, I’d be extremely annoyed if I have payed the full price.
