S95D, is there a way to get 144hz working with adaptive sync, as Gsync is terrible with this TV.

Hi

First off, been there, tried that, as others have, and in the end, we seem to have two options with the S95D (and past ones)

If you run it with a PC (high end), I can have 4k/144hz/RGB/Full colour 10bit/VRR with G-Sync compatible selected. This sounds great, but the VRR flicker on this TV is unbearable compared to any other TV I have owned/tried that was fully G-Sync compatible. According to other forums, this is normal for G-Sync compatible monitors and not fully G-Sync. They all have a degree of OLED VRR flicker, but it's worse if it's just compatible.

To get around this, running 4k/120hz/RGB/Full colour 10bit/Fixed refresh with adaptive sync is possible. If you do this, you get ZERO VRR flicker. But what bothers me is that if I pick 144Hz, 70% of the time when I turn the TV/PC on, I get a static screen with blue lines. 144Hz works 100% of the time, and Gsync is compatible, but not if I use adaptive.

Sadly, Samsung will see the PC issues as a tiny problem because the consoles use AMD tech, and that's the bigger market they will monitor/fix.

Has anyone got a way to run 144Hz with adaptive sync?

Thanks
