I'm mainly using the QN900D for gaming but sometimes I do watch some TV/Streaming services and movies/series are a stuttery mess with any motion plus setting. Sports and live shows don't seem to suffer so I suspect it's something with 24 fps content.
Game motion plus seems to work fine though.
I was using a QN900B before that I still have so I know how proper working motion plus looks like.
This is on FW 1107. I seriously hope it's fixed with the next FW or I'll have to think twice before buying a Samsung TV in the future.
Update: did a factory reset after installing latest FW and this time I made sure set settings per port first. This seems to have fixed the wonky motion plus on cable/streaming content.
Edit: 30 fps games look terrible in motion too with game motion plus 1 & 2.
Update:
Found the culprit! It was my RetroTink 4K that was messing up the motion plus. I'm using an HDMI 2.1 switch with the RT4K hooked up to that and if I leave the RT4K on when switching to something else on that HDMI switch it would cause that bug. To avoid that I have make to make sure to turn off the RT4K before switching to something else on that same HDMI port.
It's an annoying bug that didn't happen with my QN900B.
