Strange blur when screen fades to black

Whilst watching an Apple movie on my QE65Q67D in the dark, as the Apple logo disappears, the screen has a strange blurry colour effect (see attached picture). This happens whenever the picture fades to black. All other aspects of the picture when watching content appear to be fine!

Seems intentional as it looks like a cloud patern, could be to show off the fact they have gone in with Samsung on HDR10+

It isn’t just happening on Apple content, and it appears to be only happening on a black fade. It genuinely looks like a technical issue!
