Software Update: UE40H5000AK

I have a UE40H5000AK and wanted to update the Software  as I don't have Anynet+ (HDMI CEC) in my settings..... and wondered if a Software update would add this in.

The TV is not a Smart TV so there is no internet connection so can this be done via USB? and does anyone know if the Software update would resolve my issue.

So the issue is I have a Sky Soundbox and when I power the TV on the SOundbox doesn't come on, reading through forums I need Anynet+ (HDMI CEC) on my TV to allow this to happen... all the settings on my SkyQ box are correct so I am left with my TV settings.

The TV also needs the necessary hardware for Anynet+ to work.

hello from 4 years later! According to my research if you go to the Samsung support page and search for that model number you should be able to find the correct model and scroll until you see upgrade and select it then be able to download it from there.
