Hi Guys,

Is there anyway to totally disable the notification Smart Device "you must give permission to connect...." and automatically denied all request? I leave in a condo with a shared wifi and this always pos-up. I been trying to denied all that request for a month now and yet still many are trying to connect.

My issues, and agreement, exactly. Bottom line: it is not right (and likely not legal) for Samsung to expect Customers to tolerate constant pop-up, foreign, pairing Alerts (on the top horizontal banners of their Samsung screens), cutting out viewing while also disabling the use of the Samsung Remote Control (while pairing pop-up notifications are engaged) without providing their Customer the option of a full disabling of the pairing notification.  No other company would allow this. Anybody up for a Samsung Class lawsuit?

No. Samsung is trying to blame their issue on another party.  Samsung is deflecting their technological glitch on someone else.  Don't you GET it?  Wake UP, everybody!

I was able to finally resolve this issue after almost a year of run around. Please call customer support and request that the service tech remote into your device and turn off the “instant on” function. This cannot be done by user and needs to be done by customer support. Hope this helps everyone!

This just started happening to me last night. There should be a simple built-in solution to this problem within the settings. I live in a condo. I've checked my devices for Facebook, but what about my neighbours' devices? When I look in my TV's device list. It's empty. Nothing to approve or deny. Instead I get a Connect/Cancel message every 30-60 seconds. If I can't disable the recurring messages, I would be fine disabling Bluetooth altogether. It shouldn't be this difficult.

Nevermind. This solution did not resolve the issue at all. Additionally, another service rep told me that changing this feature could potentially damage the television somehow?! Pretty annoyed this can’t be resolved. I am going to try and setup a repeater. Connect the repeater to the network and then have my own private connection. Will update if works. Will be a few months as this TV is in a camper and won’t be taking it out again until summer.

TO STOP NAGGING POP-UPS AT THE TOP OF SCREEN:

This took me years to finally figure out.  Turning OFF notifications does NOT work. I hope this helps:

If you have a paired Samsung Soundbar (that you usually hear your Samsung TV through), then make sure you (manually) connect it (or connect them together) EVERYTIME (you power on your TV).  Go to Settings/Sound/Sound Output/Speaker List/ Soundbar (paired) / and click on "CONNECT."   Soundbar will now connect to your Blue Tooth audio device and will now read "CONNECTED" (instead of formerly "Paired"). You must do this every single time you turn ON your TV (to prevent the nagging pop-ups from re-occurring).  This will now STOP the nagging "pop-ups" from coming on at the top of the screen because this maneuver now forces the occupation of the (Blue Tooth) SPOT that the foreign invader wants to--and would have--filled. And once that one band is filled (by your legitimate device), there are no other spaces for a foreign invader to prompt you to fill (because your band is now full, or, occupied). Yes, it's an inconvenience to have to do, but it just takes just a few seconds (once you get the hang of it) and will prevent--and STOP--the nagging sound-device-pairing-notification pop-ups from coming on, once and for all. In the end I think it's worth the minor inconvenience.

I don't have a Samsung soundbar, I have a Sonos Beam, but after I went to the Sound -> Sound Output settings -> Bluetooth Speaker List, I found a KN320 device I didn't recognise. I deleted it from the list and the next time it attempted to connect, this time I was able to "deny" it and the pop-up has come back since. Thank you so much for your help. Much appreciated.
