Sky App has disappeared from apps on home page

When I first brought my TV , Sky was one of the apps alongside Netflix etc. However after a couple of weeks the Sky App disappeared . Have searched in the apps library but can’t find sky in there . Any idea how to get it back ?

you can't, sky fell out out with company's, similar to what epic games are doing with apple.

I have today had a 2nd samsung tv delivered and the sky app is there . Hence why i raised this query

Any further info on this as I’ve been trying to find out why it disappeared for ages. Annoying that Samsung has kept quiet about it.

I fixed this. Go to source, select HDMI 1 (assuming your sky box is in HDMI1), let the tv scan for devices, set it up as your tv provider and select your region (eg skyQ Oxfordshire) the "app" will appear back on the homescreen and the Samsung remote will work your sky box again.
