I use YouTube TV as my television service and would like my Samsung TV to start up on that instead of TVPlus. Is there a way to change the default startup app?

I'm happy if that worked for you. Great. But for a lot of us, for some stupid reason, that doesn't work. Believe me, I wish there was a one-size-fits-all solution for this problem. But apparently that's not the case. Shame on samsung.

Not an ideal fix but a satisfactory one. I know this issue causes people fits, but I love my Frame 75 and this works for me.

Hi All

I've been looking for the same solution for very long time how to make last used app working

After a long research on the forums i ended up finding nothing and decided to try to sort it myself

After a night of no sleep and playing with the tv and looking for solutions i ended up with working last used app

now when i switch off my tv wait for some period and turn it back on the last used app comes on

Tested with Smart Iptv, Netflix, Youtube and i am confident it will work with any app !

Unfortunately, I guess that buying a Samsung and registering for this forum is not enough to actually watch your video. Can you provide an alternate explanation? Or a YouTube link?

It is simple:

Step 1: No sleep.

Step 2: Playing with the tv.

Step 3: Switch off tv.

Step 4: Dream it will work.

I have 4 Samsung Smart TV Tizen, All have this issue none work.

Just curious, I haven't tried this yet, because we never know what app we want when we turn the TV on, but are you turning the TV Off or simply putting it to sleep? Doesn't it require a long press on the power button to turn off the tv?

I know with my Frame, when I short press the power button it toggles between art mode and Media menu, and I have to long press to actually turn it OFF off.
