I've a UE50CU7100KXXU Samsung TV. After a recent update I'm seeing mic input related option (search on Samsung home, YouTube app)
The default remote (that was with the purchase), doesn't have mic. I wanted to know if I buy a smart remote (with mic support), will that be compatible with my TV.
From Samsung's site, I was sent to this website, where filtering for the same model doesn't show smart remote as a supported device - https://www.samsungspares.co.uk/tv-projector/ue50cu7100kxxu/catalogue.pl?path=627412%2C627451&model_...
But on the other hand, the TV OS does show mic input prompts, so it may work maybe? So just want to be sure who is incorrect.

Hi @ashwani0x Welcome the Samsung Community 😀
When Smart Remotes are not provided with certain models it tends to indicate they are not supported. The CU7100 is more of a Budget friendly option.
You can try the options available via SmartThings via your Mobile.

I thought so too, but I am getting option for voice input, which got me curious on this. I'm more or less okay without voice remote given it's not a high-end TV, but if it is supported than why not!
Edit - I just tried voice via the Smart Things app, and it worked well. On the very first usage it took me to Bixby setup flow, and voice command works

That doesn't solve my initial question though. If I buy a voice supported remote, will that work?
