@grevillon: To adjust the size of the display, please head to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Size Settings, and explore your options from here.
With regards to changing the default home page on the Internet app, while I have been unable to verify the correct steps, please try opening the app > Enter the address of the page you want to default to in the URL bar > After visiting the page, look for a cog symbol in the top right > Web browser settings > Set as home page > Current page.
