TV Model LH55BEAHLGKXXU - Smarthub appears to be frozen

Hi all

My first post.

I have a Samsung Business TV at home.

Unboxed it, ran the setup including a software update to version T-KSU2EDEUC-2220.9

All working fine except Smarthub.

When I click APPS and go into SmartHub (after logging into my Samsung account), I'm presented with a screen showing the preinstalled apps and nothing else. I can't click anywhere, the screen just seems frozen. Cant get to the search function so cant install Netflix and other apps.

To date I have done the following:

1. Used the device features to check the TV and smartfeatures.

2. Reset Smarthub

3. Reset the TV several times.

4. Called Samsung UK support. The agent was clearly reading from a script and had me do a smarthub reset again before concluding I should just monitor the issue for now.

I'm want to try downgrading the firmware to see if that helps but I cannot find any previous firmware on the Samsung website - only manuals.

Please does anyone have any suggestions? It seems I'm stuck with a TV where the apps/Smarthub simply don't work.

Thank you.

Just an update if anyone else gets this issue.

After calling the business support team it would appear this model of TV has a limited amount of APPs available and that you cannot get Netflix or Amazon Prime. Annoying but thats just the way it is with this model.

I will use an Amazon Firestick as a work around.
