latest TV firmware for SAMSUNG UA55F6300

Hi,

Is it possible to find latest firmware available for below old Samsung TV model?

I need to latest firmware as for now Netflix apps is not available on current SAMSUNG catalog app in my current version. Appreciate any assistance on this matter.

Hi @mm1988  welcome to the Samsung Community    We are the Uk/Ireland/European communities.  This appears to be a 2014 Australian model.   I  know that pre 2014 models are no longer compatible but the situation is subject to review and apps on older models are only supported for so long.  The last update was from 2016 https://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/UA55F6300AMXRD/ 

Possibly though you may need to use an External Device https://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/UA55F6300AMXRD/

Thanks for you reply. Actually I already download the upgrade file (USB type) as per your link provided before this after do manual search via google. But the issue if after extract the file as advise in the manual guide and connected the USB that contained the update file to the USB port on the TV and try run the update, it not recognize the USB file download although I follow the exact guide as stated in the manual.

Just checking if youy formatted the USB  stick  before downloading the upgrade file,can only be that file present for it to work on TV.  otherwise should work if you followed the procedure, can you check the  latest software on the TV to ensure it is not  2139.1  (or 2139 as Tv's often miss out decimal points on the Display.)

Yes. I already format the USB stick and then copy the .exe file into the USB stick. Then from there I extract the file as follow the step in the upgrade document.

Here my current details of my version of my TV as check. the version is 2142.

Here the error that I received when try to update now after extract the file and plugin the usb with the upgrade file to my  TV.

Oh right, that is a higher number which is why you are not able to install 2139.1. I take it must have updated over the air, unable to downgrade.
