Yet AGAIN the Samsung TV Plus channels have disappeared overnight from my Channel Favorites list.
This has happened multiple times. This issue has been repeatedly reported here, on social media, and to Samsung Support. No fix has been offered. Resetting the TV or re-addding the channels works--until it happens again.
I am Fed Up.
SAMSUNG SUPPORT, FIX THIS ***** ISSUE. YOUR SOFTWARE SUCKS. YOUR TV INTERFACE SUCKS. YOUR SUPPORT SUCKS.

This week, 5/29/24, and last week, the S+ streaming channels did get re numbered. Used to be 1000...1540 or so. Now they go up to 4500 or so. They did group and organize by content. This happened on another Samsung TV as well. BUT... TV lost wifi and could not find ANY wifi signals. My internet is FINE. I had to reset the smart hub networking. And rescan for all channels. This has also happened with an OTA channel is weak. TV decided to just DELETE the channel. Had to rescan all channels AGAIN.
I have had the 50" now since NOV 2023, and have factory reset, EEPROM reset and reset smart hub over 30 times AT LEAST. INFURIATING ! The other functions are fine, picture clarity, audio clarity with external amp thru digital optical cable are all EXCELLENT. Samsung techs have NO CLUE that firmware updates are buggy. I had 1310 now it is up to 1401. Problems have gotten worse !

I talked to Samsung tech today and he had me unplug TV for 30 seconds. 30 channels disappeared after plugging back in. Tech says it's my over air antenna. That software sees weak signal then deletes channel. They for the love of God need to change that software response.

Everyone needs to call tech support and say: change software to Not delete channels. Talking to each other on here is just us talking to each other. Techs don't read this stuff.

Yes you are correct in some ways, this is a **bleep** to **bleep** venting forum.
The samsung techs do not read these but...
BUT I have called Samsung Tech support and all they do is repeat like parrots
to check for updates and do the factory resets etc. They REALLY have NO CLUE
that the firmware updates are buggy and actually causing more problems than they solve. I had firmware 1310.3 and has some problems. I have 1405 now and the problems have intensified. More often and more random. How can we the consumers who spent $$$ on TVs get the to listen. They DO NOT ! Thanks.

Same here all Samsung plus channels gone yet again. What's going on????

CU7000 this time yesterday, the framework for the S+ channels is there. BUT the screen is black and no content is displayed. OTA channels are fine. WiFI is fine. Do I need to reset the smart hub AGAIN or something else. This TV has firmware update 1430. My other samsung tv Plus channels are working fine. Thanks for any good suggestions !

Absolutely ridiculous. I was faced with endless unwanted channels starting 4000 up - no way to find normal digital terrestrial channels. I finally googled 'Samdung TV lost all my TV channels' and eventually found the right menu with the broadcasting tab that allowed me to autoretune. I am still not happy that Live TV is tucked into a corner of the screen and all the rubbish I don't want leers at me as soon as I switch on.

I've had the same issue for almost 1 year! So very frustrating and no support available from Samsung. Next tv I purchase will definitely not be a Samsung and I'm letting everyone know

Over the past year, I have had to re do all the Samsung plus channels at least 30 to 40 times. There are only about 70 channels I watch, so when it resets suddenly to ALL 450 channels, it takes time to re do them. I have tried favorites but that usually gets erased as well. Samsung support has not been helpful. I think that when they add or change the plus channels line up their software is not fault tolerant and so it crashes and resets back to ALL channels. It does not affect the Over the air antenna channels.
Samsung has an excellent picture and sound, and the plus channels have good content. LG has a similar bonus channels deal but not sure if they are as good.

Is there anyone who had installed the firmware update version 6500 ??
My CU7000 is offering it. Some of their updates create more problems than they solved. The support techs have NO clue and only repeat the same useless ***** about updating. My current version is 2000. It has been ok aside from the Samsung plus channels randomly being reset back to ALL of them. Waste of time. Thanks.
