I have a strange problem.
I bought a new Samsung QE55Q80T (2020) QLED HDR 1500 . I live in UK and have Virgin TV provider which has a Tivo Box.
Samsung TV's HDMI ports seem to be faulty. When connected to Virgin Tivo Box none of the channels like BBC, iTV etc have any sound.
1. I changed multiple HDMI cables.
2. The Virgin TV engineer came in today. No solution.
The Samsung TV seems to behave strangely. The picture is perfect but NO SOUND.
I went on multiple calls with Samsung support. Finally the person on phone tried Soft/Hard reset. NO solution.
Do we have any Samsung expert here to help?
Why is Samsung mis-selling its TVs in UK?
If they cannot work with any set top box and typically Virgin TV then please tell customers.
It has been a nightmare with this Samsung TV.
I wrote on Twitter as well. No one listens.
Is anyone from customer support, Listening?
