I cannot see "My Folder" or "My Album" anywhere in the settings to upload my own photos. Do I need to do something to activate this feature?

I'm failing at step 5 in this guide:

https://www.samsung.com/au/support/tv-audio-video/use-your-photos-with-ambient-mode-on-samsung-tv/

Samsung says: "You can even create a background theme where you take a picture of the wall and use it as your TV’s background, making it blend in seamlessly."

So I have and would like my natural stone wall to be displayed on the TV, like this:

@jdk1967: Please try checking the permissions for the SmartThings app to ensure that it has access to your photos.

Settings > Apps > SmartThings > Permissions > Photos and videos > Always allow all

I also recommend checking the Google Play Store or Galaxy store for any available SmartThings updates that might address the issue.

I have the same problem - the app is up to date and has access to camera etc.  I’m using an iPhone

Have checked this on all the devices I use to access the TV. Naturally, everything's up to date. Hoped that the OTA 1430.3 might have addressed this; but it didn't. I guess that you don't work for Samsung, however, do you know whether they've removed this functionality? Thanks. John

Same issue here for Samsung S90D 77” bought in Sep 2024 in United States. Was anyone able to fix this issue?

I just bought a 65 inch S 90 DD TV from Costco in October, 2024. Firmware has been updated. No setting for “my album” available Using SmartThings app on iPhone.

I’ve looked in permissions.  On iPhone there is no where to even give permission to photos. Is there another way?
