My Local Dimming of my new TV (<1 month) does not work anymore after the newest Firmware Update to 1504. I am really frustrated because since I got this TV, the problems won't stop. I could not enjoy my TV since I purchased it and now the Update turned it to junk.
Has anyone else got this issue?

Yes got the same issue.
I hope they will fix it in the next update...
The only fix would be to get your motherboard replaced with the older firmware or you can use smart calibration.
When you use smart calibration remember everytime you restart the tv (hold power button for multiple seconds)
You have to do the calibration again...

the same - I had update 1503 and then 1504 and the menu started to have clouds and very bright spots and then it returned to normal but Local Dimming is gone since then - now it's been 5 weeks - they took my tv to the repair shop here in Koszalin - said that they needed to download something - after the tv was returned I noticed that there are 5 scratches on the screen, now I got a document that the service is finished, and the scratches is my fault, they didn't want to give me a document concerning the problem, nobody asked me to inspect the tv

I mean I get mails but didn't get a paper document - they didn't want to give it to me - the tv is junk, no Local Dimming, and there are scratches - nobody asked me to inspect the screen

I called support because I also have the problem with local dimming.
I requested a fix and they said not needed only software problem and that I should enable the start at smart hub thing and calibrate tv picture with phone.
That's why I am waiting for the new software that will fix it.

I have QN90B but with older motherboard (the reason I am on 1503) if you have 1504 that means you have newer motherboard.
I have zero problems with my QN90B which works as a PC monitor only (I've updated manually from USB stick)

MY NEW SAMSUNG TV is BROKEN BECAUSE OF FIRMWARE UPDATE BY SAMSUNG (1504) - now or 5 weeks I have had Local Dimming problem - NO LOCAL DIMMING IN THE TV Samsung 75QN91B - the Poland Centre even didn't prepare the form of the issue, they promise to call but they don't, or after the time agreed, then their reset didn't help (twice), each representatvie from the centre says something different (global problems (!?), bug, firmware, etc), the local service don't know what is going on, a guy arrived, looked at the tv and confirmed that there is a problem ! - for a while the local dimming returned (after he opened and closed the service menu), but after the tv was switched off from the mains - gone - this is in Poland - 5 weeks with a malfunctioning new tv (3 months old) - after two weeks I got information that the problem is registered, the same day the guy returned with a memory stick, didn't help - then after a few days they took the tv then after 5 days returned without repair - "maybe Korea will help with a new firmware update" - still nothing - they returned the tv - I got a document that the service problem is closed ! - they tell you that somebody will phone, nothing, another time they fix a time that a technician will call, I change my routines and wait (1pm till 2 pm) also nothing, once sb called, I was in the toiled, I asked to call 10 minutes later, also nothing - DO NOT BUY a SAMSUNG
