A bit of an update for anyone who stumbles across this thread.
After a couple months of back and forth with Samsung support they finally gave me a worthwhile reply. They are aware of this issue and are working on a software update to fix it, it’s planned to release around mid-august.
No clue about the hue sync app though, I don’t need it so I didn’t ask.

Nice!
Support said to me that the hue app will come in 3 quarter -> till end of September.
I think/hope the app will come with the update in August

Stumbled across this thread because as of today the Hue Sync app on my Samsung Frame 2022 75" no longer works.
Am I understanding correctly that Samsung has broken the app, and the $150 they had me spend on it will be useless until September???

No. What I said was about the release of the app (for some models like the qn90b the app is still not in the store).
If the app doesn't work then contact philipps or samsung...

Thanks for the update! I also waiting for the working update as my TV is still on version 1020 and I don't want to update to newer firmware because of the issues with the picture quality. Please inform us if you get any new information. Btw, it's terrible that Samsung is aware of this problem and people who have updated must wait another month to get a working TV.

Actually for me it's better that it will be fixed through an update but that it does take so long - 2 months - to fix this is kinda a joke.
Also that the hue sync tv app isn't in the app store is redicolous... It should've been there since January

I am confused 😕.. Anyone know how it's possible that 3 different Samsung support pages list 3 different firmware update file sizes for the same TV? All have the same version, ie 1504. The size of the file varies from 3.5 mb to over 3 gb!! See the links below.

(Search for Qn85b 65")

The 3gb one contains two different versions for the older (1503.8) boards and chipsets and the newer ones (1504.0). I don't know what the 3.5 mb version is.

MY NEW SAMSUNG TV is BROKEN BECAUSE OF FIRMWARE UPDATE BY SAMSUNG (1504) - now or 5 weeks I have had Local Dimming problem - NO LOCAL DIMMING IN THE TV Samsung 75QN91B - the Poland Centre even didn't prepare the form of the issue, they promise to call but they don't, or after the time agreed, then their reset didn't help (twice), each representatvie from the centre says something different (global problems (!?), bug, firmware, etc), the local service don't know what is going on, a guy arrived, looked at the tv and confirmed that there is a problem ! - for a while the local dimming returned (after he opened and closed the service menu), but after the tv was switched off from the mains - gone - this is in Poland - 5 weeks with a malfunctioning new tv (3 months old) - after two weeks I got information that the problem is registered, the same day the guy returned with a memory stick, didn't help - then after a few days they took the tv then after 5 days returned without repair - "maybe Korea will help with a new firmware update" - still nothing - they returned the tv - I got a document that the service problem is closed ! - DO NOT BUY
