qn75qn90 in usa can't record ota can with a zapper box but why can't i use the record feature in tv. i have 64gb usb plugged into tv

I've read that's why is said usa ,not eu or whereever. it's bs that i can record content with zapper box but the exact same content is a no no with my tv. apparently it's to much for samsung to code the ota side so i can record .and sam plus content is ok but wasting 2-3 min till the program continues is bs .if I get a snack everytime this S***T is on i'll be 4 hundred pounds in a year. can anybody at samsung explain why this makes any common sense. is it really that difficult to code ota to record in the usa ?
