ITV X download help

How can I install ITV X on a ue55es8000uxxu. Not a clue after trying this afternoon. Any help out there please?

What stinks is the fact that we can't have ITVX because of age of tv, and we can't have samsung tv plus either for the same reason! Some of us can't afford to update tv every year, my samsung tv is only watched when I go to bed, I won't bother next time, get a different make!

@Anjov: While I understand your disappointment, please understand that the decision to stop supporting ITVX on early Samsung Smart TV models was entirely the decision of the developers themselves, due to technical limitations.

"ITV have taken the decision to change their service in order to present a greater range of content to their viewers in future. How do I install itvx on my Samsung smart TV model ue46f6400?

Is there anyway of updating a Samsung smart TV (2014 model) so that I can download ITVX ?

My workaround is to load ITVX on my Samsung A25 phone then on TV press SOURCE to select SCREEN MIRRORING then swipe down to settings on phone and choose 'Smart View Mirror Screen' then tap your TV when it appears in the list. Cheaper and quicker than buying a firestick if you have a Samsung phone

Thank you... I always forget about screen mirroring 🙄 😄.... and didn't even think my telly was that old!
