Is it at all possible to cast my laptop desktop to my Samsung Smart TV?

I know about the samsung smart view applicationthat i can install on my laptop BUT I HAVE SEEN THT IT ONLY ENABLES ME TO CAST AND VIEW MEDIA FILES.   My TV is Samsung LED 102cm 40K6300 (smart TV)

How do i cast my destop and other activity to the big screen (like a mirror)

@perfection161: Can you try the following to see if you're able to mirror your laptop to your K6300.

On your PC, click Start, and then click Settings. Next, click Devices, and then click Bluetooth & Other Devices. Click Add Bluetooth or other device, and then click Wireless display or dock. Then, click your TV once its name is displayed If prompted, select Allow on your TV.
