My Samsung Frame TV has lost all the photos that I have transferred onto it about a week ago, we haven’t had any power cuts the tv was showing the photos in the morning and at some point, during the day it defaulted back to one of the original preinstalled photos. When I go to My Collection > My Photos it says “No Photos Yet” but when I look at the storage it’s over half full, so they are still on the internal storage, but I can’t see them anymore.
I have tried all the usual steps self-diagnostics, unplugging it for 2mins etc to no avail.
Has anyone else experienced this or know of how to fix it as I don’t have a backup of the hundreds of photos I added over the past year.

Exactly how not to run a forum. Why don't instead you ask people to share the details in case others have the same problems, which they do, and then post your solutions publicly. Maybe you'll actually solve problems and help people that way.

Many thanks for your feedback - the information's requested are personal details relating to purchase, along with specifics of the device, such as serial number, that we would discourage users from posting publicly. This means we can protect our customers and then post a reply publicly as and when relevant.

I just lost all of mine on reboot today as well. What the heck? It also won't let me access my photos from the SmartThings app on my phone even though I can control the TV from it and they are on the same network.

Here’s a workaround I used to get to my photos after the “My Photos” icon button disappeared on the Art screen on my Samsung Frame TV. Using the Samsung Smart Things app on your phone, put your Frame TV in WiFi mode and connect. Then select the TV remote on the app and click on it to ensure it’s communicating to the TV. Next, click to the photos option in the app and pick a photo to project to your TV. Once the selected photo appears on your TV, use your Frame TV remote and click the right side (3 o’clock) part of the ring - you should see another photo from your collection appear on the TV. Next, turn off your app and return your TV to its normal connection to the internet. To change your photo while in Art mode, scroll towards the top of the main Art mode screen and use the “Recent” feature bar and click on one of your own photos - from there, use the TV remote Left/Right sides on the remote circle to scroll through your other photos. Until Samsung fixes the missing “My Photos” icon, it’s important to ensure one of your own photos remains the “Recent” row located near the top of the main Art mode screen.

I had the same problem with my Frame TV and learned the photos really weren’t wiped off the TV. Scroll down to my response to Delmo3 to see my workaround.
