I have just received a new Frame TV (2024) as a warranty replacement, and despite my best efforts, I cannot configure it to function similarly to my previous model (2020). My old Frame TV had a bar at the bottom of the screen where I could select one of the streaming apps or input sources. On the current Frame TV, pressing the home button opens the Smart Hub in full screen. My installed apps are displayed as a row of postage stamp-sized icons, while the remaining screen area is filled with strips suggesting content from live streaming apps that I have already uninstalled and have no intention of using. Is it possible to restore the simple bar with just my installed apps or declutter the Smart Hub screen to remove this unnecessary content?

@kpalczynski: The Frame 2024 comes with Tizen 8, which features the new Smart Hub Home screen. It isn't possible to revert to the menu bar found in previous operating systems, however with time you should find the new menu layout intuitive. If you're looking for your installed apps, for instance, then navigate to 'Apps' (located towards the top of the screen).

To edit Apps in the 'For You' tab, navigate to the end of the list using the right direction button on the remote > Edit List > Move to an app  > Press the down direction arrow > Choose from the available options e.g. Move, Remove etc.

So, there's no option to have a list of apps without encountering a list of thumbnails for all the episodes of Peppa Pig?

Does Samsung sell a dumb TV?  Seriously.  I don't want all that ***** on my TV screen when I am just switching between two inputs.  I don't care that you are recommending me Christmas movies or sports or news or or or or.  It is VERY counter intuitive.

Well after a week, the TV is going back to Costco.  VERY counterintuitive.
