Recently bought a QE50Q60BAUXXU

We were told in the store that it came with a Freeview app , with no need to get a seperate box to watch freeview.

Unless I'm being really srupid, this doesn't seem to be the case.

Does anyboyd know by any chance if you can watch Freeview on this TV without an aerial/Freeview box?

Hi @autorick  Freeview is  pre installed but you will need an aerial to access.  https://www.freeview.co.uk/help/equipment  There is the Freeview play service but this is not supported on Samsung Tv's.  https://www.cordbusters.co.uk/what-is-freeview-play-questions-answered/ 

 Certainly no app available for my Tv though it is an older model. perhaps the sales staff thought Freeview play was applicable.   You do view the catch up services via the internet but only some of them have live programs available.
