Can't find Apple TV app.  Software says updated to 1280  I've tried smart hub reset as well with no luck

@Mikki221: Sadly the Apple TV and Airplay apps are not available for this model, and can only be found on 2018 models or higher. I apologise for any disappointment this may cause you.

Why would the older samsung TV like the un50mu6070 not have access to the app? Optically this seem very bad on samsungs part. By not allowing the tv to download the app it seem samsung is forcing the consumer to purchase a new TV? or perhaps its Apple that is limiting the app in some type of back door deal. In any case I feel pretty gutted because I just purchased this TV and im watching Appletv off my phone. -.-

I am in the same boat and I've had this tv since 2017. I refuse to buy a new TV, it works fine and I don't need another! I have since moved from Android to Apple and have free apple subscriptions on two phones that I would like to use on my tv. Lame.
