Hello everybody.
Recently I have bought amazing new TV screen as in subject. It replaced my old Bravia LCD device. For years it worked perfectly in the following route - AppleTV 4K -> (HDMI) -> TV Set -> (TOSLink) -> DAC (Cambridge Audio DACMagic 200m) -> (RCA) -> Stereo Amp with speakers. I plugged in the same setup to my new Samsung TV and the problems appeared. I am not able to output the sound to my stereo system - it pops and cracks every couple of seconds - sometimes 10, sometimes it is able to play even for couple of minutes and cracks again. I've tried all the settings both software and hardware:
- Audio output settings on Apple TV and input on Samsung side, Auto, Stereo, PCM, etc
- Output the sound from eARC HDMI of Samsung and through splitter to DAC using coaxial and optical link
- Connect Apple TV to the HDMI Extractor and then to the DAC
- Tried premium HDMI connectors capable of transmitting 8k feed
The problem seems to be more intensive on high quality material with all HDRs, Atmos, etc. The only way to have it working is to stream via AirPlay to CA Streamer, but it causes some inconveniences. I'm out of ideas. Is there anything I could do?
