Hi there - I have recently puchased the S10 Ultra tablet. When trying to use a Yealink dongle to connect my tablet to a screen in a meeting room at work, the tablet does not recognise the dongle (weirdly it works fine on my samsung phone). It works fine using a USBC HDMI adapter, however does not work when using the dongle. The tablet seemed to infer that it needed power in order for it to work?
I appreciate any help.
Thanks

Hi @Members_aJBOEr8,
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue you're encountering:
Power Supply: As you mentioned, the tablet seemed to infer that it needed power. Some dongles require more power than what the tablet's USB-C port can provide. If the Yealink dongle has a power input, try connecting it to a power source using a separate charger or a powered USB hub to ensure it gets sufficient power.
Check Compatibility: Confirm that the Yealink dongle is fully compatible with the tablet’s operating system. Some accessories, particularly those designed for specific devices or ecosystems (like Samsung DeX or other specific protocols), might not work well with certain tablets.
Update Software: Ensure that your tablet's firmware and operating system are fully updated. Sometimes, compatibility issues are resolved with software updates.
USB Settings: Check if there’s a specific setting in the tablet’s USB preferences (like a "USB power" setting) or display settings that might need adjustment to make the dongle work.
Test with Different Dongles: If possible, test the Yealink dongle with another device or try a different dongle to confirm whether the issue is specific to the Yealink dongle itself.
Consult Yealink Support: Since the dongle works with your phone, it might be a compatibility or power issue with the tablet’s USB-C port. Reaching out to Yealink's support team for any specific guidance related to their dongle and tablet compatibility could be helpful.
I hope one of these solutions helps! Let me know if you need further assistance.
