Hi everyone - I have recently purchased the S10 Ultra tablet. When using microsoft teams via the chrome browser, it shows that my camera is being used and has the right permissions, and it even shows my face in the bottom right corner like normal, however the other people on the call cannot see my face and just shows my icon. Has anyone else had this issue? I am using the Chrome app on the tablet when doing this.

I have the teams app however in some instances I need to use the teams via chrome browser.

I appreciate the help! #samsungs10ultra

Hi @Members_aJBOEr8, it sounds like you're encountering an issue with Microsoft Teams in the Chrome browser on your S10 Ultra tablet, where the camera appears to be working on your end, but others can't see your video feed. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:

  1. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies:

    • Sometimes, browser caches or cookies can cause conflicts with apps like Teams. Try clearing your Chrome browser’s cache and cookies and then restart it.
  2. Check for Browser Updates:

    • Ensure that your Chrome browser is up to date. Sometimes compatibility issues can arise from using an outdated version of the browser.
  3. Test Teams in Incognito Mode:

    • Open an Incognito window in Chrome and log into Teams. This disables most extensions that could be causing issues. If the problem is resolved in Incognito mode, one of your extensions might be interfering with Teams.
  4. Try a Different Browser:

    • If the issue persists in Chrome, try using another browser like Microsoft Edge to see if the problem occurs there as well.
  5. Enable Camera Permissions in Chrome:

    • Even though you mentioned permissions are set correctly, double-check by going to Chrome's settings:
      • Go to Chrome > Settings > Content > Camera and ensure that Teams is allowed to access the camera.
  6. Update Teams App (if applicable):

    • If you're using the Microsoft Teams app instead of the browser version, make sure it's updated to the latest version from the Google Play Store.
  7. Restart Device:

    • Sometimes, simply restarting the tablet can help resolve any temporary system glitches.
  8. Check for System Updates:

    • Ensure your S10 Ultra has the latest system updates.

If none of these work, you might want to try reinstalling the browser or even contacting Microsoft Teams support for more specific troubleshooting.
